Joe has played in bands since he was 17. Starting in pubs & clubs gigging 2-3 times a week under the wing of the Bill Dixon Agency, Joe has a lot of experience which shows at all times. Joe has supported and jammed with many big named bands including T-Rex and Oliver-Dawson Saxon, Danny Bryant (Danny Bryant’s Redeye Band), New York rocker Adam Bomb, Graham Oliver (Saxon), Guns N Oatcakes, Joey Pafumi (Ex-Walter Trout Band), Metallica UK (tribute) Danny Needham (Toni Martin Band), and many more. For the past 4 years, Joe has jammed with one of the bands who inspired him to play, the Rock/Blues band called ‘Walter Trout and The Radicals’, fronted by the guitar legend Walter Trout (voted worlds #5 guitarist in a BBC poll). After leaving his first band, Joe spent 6 months as a professional stand-in for pub and club bands, Joe then joined the band ‘Mr Chief’ as their permanent bass player who he still performs with in pubs and WMC’s. In Late 2008, Joe joined up with 2 like minded musicians to form the band Invisible Idols. Joe plays bass and backing vocals for II who are currently rehearsing new material and getting ready for their upcoming gigs.
